As an extra input, I just did a clean Win7 install and the add-in would install but not show up in any way .. on either my GApps account or my personal gmail page; neither.

The script, however, is doing the job nicely.

Great script. One small (purely aesthetic) issue I'm having is that there's no space between Gmail and the object below it. Here's a screenshot: http://imgur.com/xn737.jpg . Is there any way I can fix this? Thanks.

SPECIAL COMPATIBILITY NOTE: For those who are using the NoScript Addon the latest version by default blocks Google Calendar from loading.

To Fix It….

1) Please check for No Script version 1.9.9.05 or later.
2) In a new tab go to about:config and accept the warning.
3) Find the setting noscript.frameOptions.parentWhitelist and add mail.google.com to it.

I have contacted Giorgio Maone at g.maone@informaction.com who authors the NoScript addon about this issue.

More issues for me... I just sent you an email.
I uninstalled the FF add-on and went with the greasemonkey script. I tweaked the configuration as to what will load. I can't seem to get the calendar to load though. It says something about the privacy not letting it be shown in a frame and I can click the button to open in a window.

Hello

It seems that integrated gmail breaks the chat feature in igoogle.

When it's enabled, it makes the chat boxes turn white.
When it's disabled, the chat boxes work.

I was wondering if that's possible to fix ??

thanks for such a quick reply! it's working now. i tried a few days ago to install the firefox add-in from your website but i get an error message saying "Firefox could not install the file at https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/downlo... because: Invalid file hash (possible download corruption) -261" I'm using firefox 3.0.5 & winxp prof sp3.

Hi insha,

Your CUSTOM section looks fine. Your elements section needs to be ELEMENTS: "mail,reader,custom1",

That should do it. I should mention that the Firefox Addon linked from the main page or www.intergratedgmail.com is a lot easier to configure.

sorry for asking such a noob question ... how do i get the custom url to work? i don't understand the instructions. the instructions say "add customX where X refers to "position in the array+1" The array is at the bottom of USER_CONFIGURATION."

so in the elements, i want to use:

Hi Madcadder,

Unfortunately, here is the problem. Google Docs (and other other google services such as Orkut) have code that detects if they are loaded in as a subpage of another page and if so force it to take over the whole window. The firefox developers (rightly so for various reasons) have coded the browser to respect such requests, for example one cannot embed say a CNN article and take claim to it as theirs now. I have not quite working on this problem, as there may be a way to do it from a browser permission stand point but haven't worked it out yet.

Well... I couldn't resist and got it to work. Almost. It displays to box, but has a nice little "Sorry, the page (or document) you have requested does not exist.

Please check the address and try again."

I know that I've hit my end, since I have no idea as to what to put after:

I had a "?" to get it to display, but that's not it. It needs something more or different.
I did save my code off to the side to learn from once this feature has been added, if it can work correctly.

For an update... I found another area I had missed that needed documents added to it. Now it loads, shows for a second, and switches from gmail to docs. Ooops.... I'm still guessing that it can be done; I'm just not holding my tongue right.

Anyway, I think I'll move on for the night and let the Master add this. Maybe. ;)

Thanks for the code. It's nice to have my mail, reader, and calendar together.

Where's Google Docs? I couldn't find a post notifying of an issue. And when I tried to hack the script myself it didn't show up. I know I'm missing something as to I'm still such a beginner at this type of coding.

Hey Slax,

I looked it this quite a few ways now but as far as I know there is no way to stop the breakout. I even tried setting the permissions of the orkut site to not have access to the top frames location but they are cleaver and prevent the page from loading then. I am really sorry about this. Maybe they will create a gadget soon that could be added to Integrated Gmail.

as i requested earlier, for adding Orkut ... still waiting for that update.

I tried using Orkut in the Custom URL.. but once orkut starts loading... it refreshes the page and orkut.com is displayed...

Possibly but not easily. Right now i can work with Google API to make the collapsible boxes. However, tabs would have to be written from the ground up. I am not so no but I am saying if I do it won't be for a while b/c the list of requested features is a bit long at the moment.
