Bug: Original size (Hotkey: 0) doesn't work, replied by Wai_Wai

Press 0 (number zero) should bring back the image to its original size. But try to press + (plus) a few times and then press 0 (zero). It doesn't resize at all.

By the way it would be great to add the original size icon after - (minus) icon. In other words, the icon is ordered in this way: + - 0

Bug: Press + will resize both images and the page, replied by Wai_Wai

As an example go to Google images: http://images.google.com/images?&q=MP3+Player

Press + (plus) when you are viewing an image under Greased Lightbox. You will see both images and page are expanded.

Press - (minus) works correctly. It only reduce the size of the image.

Great script but would like to request a feature..., replied by BliND123

I requested this a few hours ago but thought id look at the script and try it myself. It turned out to not be that hard to add that button. So I edited it and uploaded it on here, so here is the link.

http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/51358

Now, I don't really know javascript so I was just looking at how things are linked together and try to match to what was already there for the new 'Original' button I had wanted to add. I think I did it correctly and it seems to be working fine for me, so I hope you like it.

Great script but would like to request a feature..., replied by BliND123

I just downloaded this from another guy that I guess stole it...anyways, so you're the creator? I wanna request another simple little feature. This thing is great but one thing I would like is a button for the original size. That shouldn't be hard to add would it?

I actually just found this yesterday and downloaded it from zbcjackson, I thought he had created it, anyways, hope he didn't add something malicious. :)

Modified version: black background and minimal distractions, replied by norz

Hi,

Thanks for your great script! :)

I took the liberty (this is the power of open source ;) ) to modify the script to better suit my needs.

I replaced the base64 png 1x1 grey image with a black one, so that the background is now completely black. (A very dark grey might have been better, but black was easier to do.)
I also changed the caption's font color to a darker grey.
I didn't find how to change the 'show this image in its original context' font, so I replaced it with '...' to make it less visible.
I also removed the rounded border.

Basically, I removed everything that distracted me from the photo. :)

My modified version is here (apparently the unicode characters didn't get messed up):
http://sites.google.com/site/norzsource/Home/gr...
There's a diff here (I removed the translation section, due to a ¿65535 character? limit)
http://pastebay.com/pastebay.php?diff=14635

PS: I also restored the facebook section that you commented out, because I wanted to have a 'lights out' script to use on Facebook. (The Cooliris plugin works well too, but is much slower to load.)

Feature Request: Wikia Sites, replied by Buggy

First off, thank you for this wonderful script! If I only used one GM script it would be this one.

I'm writing this post to ask if you would, in a future release, add support for the various MediaWiki format pages such as memory-alpha.org or the many Wikia sites that are now available.
If not then could you please show what code I might copy and adapt to work with the previously mentioned sites?

Thank you!

Same problem as georgie here: showing image unavailable on top of the image, but I can navigate to the next and previous images with the arrow keys without problems (they're just partly hidden under the error popup). This happens on a Flickr set page.

Edit: Also this script sometimes doesnt work. It says image unavailable but if I click "View image in its original context" then I can find the image.

A great script thats only limitation is that the slideshow only works on images currently on the same page.

In Facebook, is it possible to incorporate the ability to view all images in an album or group and slideshow through all of them?

Scripts do exist to show all images in an album but it appears this script is incompatible when used in conjunction. In Facebook the lightbox does not display when viewing the page with all images on one page. My guess is the 'view all' script alters elements on the page that this script needs to work.

Any chance of a adding this feature to an already great script?

I'm also getting "Image Unavailable" on top of some images on Firefox 3 beta 5. It doesn't happen all the time though.
As a workaround until this is fixed, you can make the error message unobtrusive by commenting out this line:
greasedLightbox.center(objError);
and giving
greasedLightboxError
an opacity of 0.1 .

Your solution half works - except now if you view image search results with greased lightbox, and then click "view image in orginal context", you are taken to http://images.google.com/imghp the google.com image search home page.
