Dear users,

There is nothing wrong with the script, and there shouldn't be, because onemanga.com hasn't changed their layout.

It is very likely that the JavaScript engine/settings for the Firefox on your computer has been corrupted. To solve this problem, you may want to try deleting the Firefox default profile and creating a new one:
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Profile_Manager#Creat...

If it doesn't work, you will want to follow these steps to do a clean install of the latest version of Firefox on your computer:
http://kb.mozillazine.org/Uninstalling_Firefox

tkmura87, thanks for your support!

Regards,
Sam

Yeap michael, the no-chapter-lists also happens to me.

Thank you tkmura for the idea of using the portable firefox to test the script.

From what i get,
the script works fine in firefox portable 3.0
but the problem (no auto show all and no chapter lists) still occurs in firefox portable 2.0

and i am using firefox 2.0 (not portable) when i first noticed the problem

Is it just my computer or the script is not compatible for firefox 2.0 anymore?

@Michael Honegger,
Which version of the onemangahelper script are you using?
I'm using "Last update: 24 Apr 2009", Firefox 3.5.2, greasemonkey 0.8.20090123.1
My setup loaded Onidere ch58 and properly "Auto Show All" and "Change Background Colour" just fine.

You mentioned you don't have "any new addons nor update firefox nor new scripts"
What you could try doing is
1. Download a portable firefox from PortableApps (http://portableapps.com/apps/internet/firefox_p...) PortableApps are great because they don't install anything to your registry so to uninstall everything you just delete the folder, I mainly install the portableapp to my desktop.
2. Run the "FirefoxPortable.exe" in the folder
3. Install greasemonkey
4. Install onemangahelper script
5. Enable "Auto Show All" and "Change Background Colour"
6. Go to onemanga.com and see if it works

If it does, then the script is fine and it is something else, possibly another script which updated, firefox autoupdated, ff addon may be interfering somewhere... not sure. But the script would be fine.

For me, none of the series works with the script correctly.. It used to work fine, then about 2 days ago it started having this problem. It does not auto show all and u cannot go to next or previous chapter..

I havent installed any new addons nor update firefox nor new scripts.. I dont know what the problem is.. Will be appreciated if I get a fix as I really like this script..

Here is the image of the problem..
http://img42.imageshack.us/img42/8241/onidere58...

Notice the drop down box is white and no chapters can be selected.. Previous and Next chapter button clicked and it shows the 2 error msgs.. And finally, it does not auto show all even with the setting on..

Thank you!

In addition to the auto show not working, everytime I click next or previous chapter, it respond with "Last chapter!" or "First chapter!" message and there is no chapters to select from in the drop down box..

thx for a great great great script !

My only 'complain' is that it makes non-chapter pages ugly, especially the 'begin to read' page.
I correct this by manually setting the 'included pages' to 'http://*onemanga.com/*/*/*/*'. I believe that this should be the default, and in that way you could omit all of the 'excluded pages' list.

Can't wait for the next release!

thx again

[Bug] 13 Apr 2009 release, replied by tkmura87

The (13 Apr 2009) release is not activating, it simply displays the default onemanga page, yet when the greasemonkey icon is selected, it shows that the onemangahelper script is checked off and running.

Not sure why its not activating, I did some basic trouble shooting on my computer, tried with different FF installs, cleared cache, cookies, forced refresh, nothing yet. I'll look into it some more when I'm out off class.

PS. The (22 Mar 2009) release worked fine.

The General Chat Thread, replied by tkmura87

Hey Samuel!
I was born, raised, and currently studying in Miami, Florida, USA.

On onemanga I am currently caught up and reading Bleach, History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi, Hunter X Hunter, Katekyo Hitman Reborn!, One Piece, Naruto, Shaman King, and Vagabond.

I am in the process of starting/catching up with Full Metal Alchemist.

Essentially, I have each manga's RSS feed sent to my google reader, and when an update is release, google reader lets me know. From there I head over to OneManga, and using your script read the whole thing asap. Further more I go as far as using a program iRotate to rotate my screen so my laptop can be viewed portrait instead of the standard landscape. Makes for reading letters, documents, and manga easy since you're able to see the entire page at once using the entire screen.

I stumble upon OneMangaHelper probably October of 2008, after searching the internet for anyway to improve OneManga.com. Using Greasemonkey for sometime already, I went ahead and search for "onemanga" in userscripts.org, and what do you know? There was this script which sounded good. I installed it, and thank goodness I did. Been hooked since, and spreading it as much as I can. Every time manga comes up in a conversion, I mention OneManga.com and immediately after OneMangaHelper.

As far as coming across any bugs while reading the other mangas, the only one I saw was with the chapters being messed up by the previous way of collecting the chapter data, but that was taken care of a long time ago.

All is running smoothly now!!
As always, thanks again Samuel!!

Just curious, where is everyone from? Do you mind sharing what manga you read on onemanga, and how did you get to know about this script?

I'm from Singapore, and currently in Australia studying. I like programming, web design and photography. Visit my website if you got time!

I created this script in mid-2008 because I saw people using onemanga and the interface sucks. I have used this script to finish reading Prince of Tennis and Naruto; which is why I need feedback from all of you who read other manga - in case they display differently.

I also want to disable Left/Right arrows browsing, however it is useful if you read one page at a time.
Therefore I suggest that when "Show ALL" is active the keys should send you to the next chapter; as for now it is bugged, if you use it you go nowhere until u reach the last page using the arrows.
