if you use any script blockin extension like NoScript be sure to allow Userscripts.org... your windows directory is really different from mine...

If you don't mind type "about:cache" in the address bar and paste the information here so i take a look at the directories...

Urm, if you mean do this: http://pastebin.com/m6f4654c5 then you got it! :D I'm having the same issue basically. If can find them, calls them all null and then doesn't do anything. That's after I have to tell it exactly where to find my config.xml file cause it refuses to do it, even then it says it can't find it but starts trying to tag the nulls.

Oy! I hope I'm doing this right...

Yes, it should. If you can post the contents of you config.xml, you can use some site like http://pastebin.com/

Maybe, but I mean, I have about 30 scripts installed. Does it only check for 10, or should it be checking them all?

10 nulls you mean script not found?

Importing searches on this site by script name, sometimes it returns nothing useful, like when it searches for "Usercripts Updater"...

thanks for the heads up... I've been annoyed by this "mistery" for so long(http://userscripts.org/topics/26782 )... I think now it's solved. Basically I was comparing version numbers as strings ... now I'm using parseInt to be sure it's a number... funny thing it's been working without parseInt since day one, only now this happens...

I'm trying to import my scripts from location:

C:/Users/****/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/y0c54z8l.default/gm_scripts/config.xml/

But the script tries to load this as:

C:/Users/****/AppData/Roaming/Mozilla/Firefox/Profiles/y0c54z8l.default/gm_scripts/config.xml/gm_scripts/config.xml

Any reason?

EDIT: Shame on me for not reading the instructions.

seems to work, but loads 10 'null's :|

it can also be found clicking at the "Scripts" menu, and then sorting by the "Fans" column... it gets the bronze medal xD

I get emails on when scripts are updated and the past 2 weeks none of the updated scripts are being found. :)

I ended up having to search google to find this script again. You would think using the search term "Userscripts Updater" on the in-site search would return this script as the first result but I guess not.

Ive just installed this script and although it does sound like i nice script i cannot get it to import my scripts it keeps coming up with path not found. The path that its looking for the scripts in doesent exsist. Is they anything i can do apart from removing all my scripts and then installing this one first and then installing my scripts afterwards! I would really like to have them imported rather then having to remove them ad readd them. Someone please advice on what i can do!

When it's greyed it's because it couldn't find the necessary information to import the script... :)

No, the search function on this site works, and in fact it HAS connection between the results and with what u've been searching, but for some reason it really can't find this script.

here is one mini-bug (or just a bad feature) when importing the scripts - all unused at the moment - get listed but you can't check their checkbox, cause it's greyed. It's not right, user should be able to import them too, you'd better make a different background for the scripts that are not used at the moment, but forbidding to import them - it's fascism >:(

made menu draggable and some other minor changes in mouse cursor... importing alert dialog now makes clear it's an experimental feature xD

Importing is still experimental. When importing a script, it uses the search in this site to find the script by name(ID is not available at that time). Searching by name sometimes returns several scripts with similar names, and sometimes doesn't return nothing useful. That's why some scripts can't be imported.

About the update, when import is finished there's an alert box saying "Import finished. \n - Updater will assume the scripts are up to date.\n - Theres a new tab containing XML that can be closed now".

...the Greasemonkey right click options being what? i don't get it.
EDIT: ok i see what you mean. right click the greasemonkey icon in your status bar to see options. this still didn't find updates for any of my 49 scripts after i imported them. and many of the scripts were installed ages ago. does that mean it's not working?? i did have another autoupdate script installed so maybe that did it for me. if so, it was much easier to use. this script has a nifty little gui but as usual the instructions are a little obscure and hard to follow.
