Yes! Thanks SO much for updating it. I had moved on to a different sig and remote quote scheme but it was lacking in so many ways. I just happened to check back here today and was so pleased to see the update. Works great again, of course.

Thanks! I couldn't find it by just digging through the source... but the Display Id & Class Details option under Information made things easy. I hope you figure out a way to get around google's Id randomization but at least for now I can make the changes as necessary.

Code is fixed. I am looking into another way of working the script as it appears Google is randomly changing the editable field name I use. You can update this yourself easily enough. Just look for the ID name of the editable form. It changed to LW-yrriRe in this round. Just look for that string. I use the Web Developer Toolbar to look at the ID.

Like many other posters, I really like this script- it's about the only thing I've seen that provides the functionality I'm looking for.

That being said, was there another google code change? I caught the changes made a few weeks ago, but it seems to be broken again. If so, and if the change is as simple as last time, is there a way you (Chuck) could quickly outline what you look for when you make the change? Even though you seem to respond fairly quickly with updates, I'd still be interested in being able to locally modify the script to adapt to these seemingly more frequent google code changes. Either way, I hope to see an update soon!

Thanks again for the awesome script.

I've been lovin' this script for many, many months now and it's been working fine for me (.6beta currently), but as of this evening it seems to have died, as I have no sign of it when composing or replying. Was there a major Gmail code change today or somethin'? TIA.

Hi Chuck,
firstly I'd ilke to say thanks for putting the effort in with this script as its so usefull for us here.

Ok - I just upgraded to FF 3.5 final and its just not working for me.
I tried having a look with firebug, and I ran in the console :

document.evaluate("//body[@class='editable tr-field']", document, null, XPathResult.UNORDERED_NODE_SNAPSHOT_TYPE, null)

This returned zero results. I don't really understand why. This is a pain as the script was super helpfull. I've inspected the dom and the body element is there with the good class='editable tr-field'.

The script is now set to work with Firefox 3.1 Beta 2. It may be broke on earlier versions. Try removing one space for the 'editable tr-field' and see if that works in FF 3.0.

But I would recommend moving to Firefox 3.1 Beta 2. It is fast and most plugins are working now.
