I'm developing and using Endless Tweets in Safari and Fluid; so far I can't find any bugs. You need to make sure you have the newest version from this site installed. When you do, you need to tell me of possible errors in the console if the bug still persists. Open the error console with "Window ▶ Show Error Console" and paste me anything that looks like a warning or error.

And what is your error anyway? Does it not load next pages? Are some other features broken?

ive tried Better Twitter and now Endless Tweets...neither work in my Fluid Twitter App whats up??? can anyone help me out?

I can't reproduce this in Webkit nor Firefox. Which Firefox version are you running? Latest Greasemonkey version?

Do you by chance see any new elements/features on Twitter website? That might mean you've been randomly selected by Twitter to a group of users that will receive certain new features earlier than anyone else. They've done this before.

The version of Firefox I'm using could be an issue (I'm still using FF2 on the older computer). I'll let you know what happens after I upgrade Firefox. Thanks!

Strange. The error like above should include some error message (an indicator why it occurred) and a real line number (not "0"). If you're sure you've pasted it correctly, I don't think this is a real issue with my script, but something with GreaseMonkey. I've had it before, when GreaseMonkey wasn't completely compatible with new Firefox versions.

The other warnings are CSS warnings about unrecognized properties. You can safely ignore them, although I think you can't turn them off (I would if I could).

The course of action now would be to make sure you have the latest GreaseMonkey and a stable version of Firefox, then reinstall Endless Tweets to make sure you have the latest version. However, since both have automatic update checking, I doubt that this is the case of old versions. Something more sinister is about.

Hi! I disabled every other addon and script and this is what I still get in the error console:

It's working for me and I haven't heard any other reports like this. Also, as far as I know, Twitter.com didn't change their markup lately.

So I guess I'll need more information from you. Are you sure you ruled out all other Twitter addons & scripts? Then open up the Tools ▶ Error Console and paste if anything's there. Thanks

I haven't been able to get this to work on three different computers, one Vista and two XP running Firefox. I'm running Greasemonkey 0.8.20090123.1 and I'm also using Power Twitter. I've disabled Power Twitter and Endless Tweets still won't work for me.

Help?

Just wanted to let you know that Endless Tweets' Growl notifications don't work in Fluid. I was trying to look for the why, but couldn't. Web Inspector shows a 'Type Error', but no line or anything since it's a GM script.

I don't know about Tweetfilter + Endless Tweets, but I never experienced ET failing no matter what flood of updates. You must take into consideration that two different scripts may be incompatible, depending on how they're written.

what feature would i really love to see? a filter like Tweetfilter but one that can filter followers as well as topics and tags
also along those lines this script and tweetfilter sometimes don't play well together IE one will work or the other will work but sometimes very rarely they'll work together perfectly. possibly this is twitter markup issues and not script issues but just so you know.
also during the twitter flood caused by M.J.'s death today this script stopped working all together to the point that the endlessscript id at the bottom disappeared

Hey Alan,

You're not being too greedy; requests like these actually help me to focus better on the next features I'm rolling out ;)

I may put in more conversation features (like automatic "in reply to"), but in the meantime check out Nested replies Greasemonkey script. I heard it's quite popular.

Other things are something I'll definitely consider, but I don't think I'll have inline twitpics or videos. That would give too much focus to people who share pics/videos and too little to ones who only post textual updates (which Twitter is made for).

OK, here is my wishlist :)
Automatic (or option for) URL shrinking (more useful than expansion)

Indentation of the "daughter" tweets when displaying inline "in reply tos" to make it more obvious which ones are the in reply tos (or maybe a different background colour)

?automatic multiple "in reply to" so you get a whole conversation with one click instead of having to click, click, click, click each tweet further down the chain. (in case there are very long chains maybe it displays up to 6, then another click for the rest etc.)

Option for inline display of twit pics, and embedded (linked) YouTube etc. (but make it optional, so you can switch it off)

Version 0.9.9 fixes a bunch of bugs including the Twitpocalypse in Firefox. Big refactoring of the script in preparation for new features! Please try out this version (I've tested in Firefox, Safari and Fluid) and report back. More improvements and new features coming in v1.0, so stay tuned ;)

Hey, I've been having this problem recently were your script works just fine on twitter profiles but not at all on my home page. This is kinda frustrating 'cause endless tweets is so useful to me now expect in the main place I need it! Any ideas or suggestions?
