absolutely, that would be possible; i actually built a version like that while i was away, but i sadly forgot to save it to my thumb drive. i can do it again, i'm sure.

i'm working a few edits a my other scripts, but this will definitely be on my list of priorities.

i think i know what you mean; just like a small popup box. that's really easy actually, i'll get it done.

Could it be possible to add a coment box to this so that you can reply to your friends without leaving the homepage? I am not a scriptwrighter yet so i am not sure if it is possible but i was thinking something similar to the new status update where a little box appears?

Sadly, I've never got this to work for me. :(

It just hangs at loading even when the comment page works. It appears like it's reading the comment page because I see it loading all the photobucket pictures, but it just shows me the loading gif.

Hey runningBlind like the script it works good most of the time. few suggestions/questions/comments.

1) i would add this to your script its helpfull

2) It seems that after sitting on the homepage for a while the comments box changes to "No comments to display." and if you refresh the page you are logged out.

Otherwise its a nice script =]

Thanks for the compatibility, I think you're script is easier to conform to than Customize It.

I've already added the linkback change on my own version. After I quickly finish some visual changes (new myspace themes) I'll go ahead and update.

I've noticed that the script can significantly slow things down. I've made a temporary solution for fixing this, but its nothing extraordinary. My own version updates every thirty seconds and uses several timeout functions instead of an interval. Other than that, I'll definitely work on it. If you find anything, let me know.

Hmm... this script freezes my comp every time it refreshes... for about 5 seconds.

Very odd... when I have some time I'll try and figure out why.

Support for this script has been added to my new MySpace Custom Home script.

All I need you to change RunningBlind is where you add your script link back.
Please change it to

Cuz atm you only add a link back IF there are already link backs present on the page.
With this users can run your script before or after mine.

If they run it after mine they can position your comment box where ever they like and if they run it before it just places it above the friendspace on my layout

I still don't have a capitable version for Customize It; I think Customize It would have to change to allow my script.

I'm not sure how the script would change anything on comment.myspace.com; I don't think the blinking cursor appears even with greasemonkey disabled. Thanks for the compliments, though.

I'm going to guess you've already figured that the control panels duplication is caused by Auto-Update.

The latest version now allows to disable videos with the showVideos variable at the beginning of the script. Thanks, let me know if it helps with your problem.
