Folks, this script is no longer relevant. Thislife.org is now running a podcast. Get on that. In other news, the podcast is supported by the donations of listeners like me. And hopefully you. Remember to support folks who give you their stuff without chains on it.

It could be that I am pretty much useless in JAVA, but I'm still trying to figure out how to use this plug in. I've been on the This Life website and can't figure out how to convert streams to Mp3's. I've got the script enabled but don't see a way to download. Any inspirational help? - s

Tried saving as .txt and copying the URL(s) into a browser window. No luck, getting an 'Invalid Resource' page.
Looks like the URLs are:
http://wbez-tal.streamguys.us/content/***.mp3 with various port numbers
I also notice that it's showing the script was updated 9/22/06, but the version comment in it is in '05.

Any ideas?

Looks like they are actually doing mp3 now. Will fix the script.

Very good idea for a script. I had to chage the line http://wbez.org.nyud.net:8090/ta/ to http://www.wbez.org/ta/ to get this to work correctly. Nice to have TAL back in my iPod.
