Thanks for the suggestions. I updated the script so now when youÂ’re focus is on the search field, when you hit [Tab] it takes you to the first result (if there is one). From there you can hit [Tab] to move down the results and [Shift]+[Tab] to move up. Let me know if this works as I was getting some strange errors, but it seems to work for me.

Right now I’m working on version 1.0 which will have some new features, so I’m going to add a more complete “result navigation” system, as you suggested using up and down keys, to the new version. I’m also going to look at adding people to the search. If anyone else has any feature suggestions please let me know. Thanks

Excellent script. What would make it even better would be to add people (actors, directors, etc). Also, perhaps setting a focus on the top link suggested...so that users can click the up and down arrows to choose a title and hit enter to select a link. Don't mean to criticize at all, just thought I'd suggest new functionality ;) A really great script, once again.

Thanks for the suggestion. I updated the search algorithm to do more general title matches. Still not perfect, but better.

Great idea for people that use IMDB! making the searching easier and fun :)

However, I would suggest that if a user doesn't know the exact name of the movie (and haven't we all been in that situation?) the script would offer a close match.
Example: Searching for "Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind" with the keyword "Spotless"
can't currently bring up the name of the movie you want, it will be great to get a close match option!
