It would be nice to have a back feature so after you've selected a single picture you can go back to the group without reloading the page. Otherwise this is a great script, thank you!

This is something I have not yet encountered, but thanks for bringing it to my attention. I'll try to recreate it, but have so far not been able to.

I noticed that this script does not work for private albums or semi private albums.

Say, a friend of mine on Myspace has his album available for "My Friends Only" viewing, and I'm their friend. The script will not load that album.

Even viewing my own "My Friends Only" album or "Me Only", I cannot see the pictures.

This script only works for COMPLETELY public albums, viewable by everyone.

Is there a reason for this/any way to change this? Because I really like this script...

yea, it doesnt freeze firefox for me completely requiring a force shutdown of the application but does make it hang for quite a bit depending on the amount of photos. another suggestion for the script may be some type of 'previous' and 'next' buttons instead of reclicking the album name each time.

Yeah, I haven't tested it much on users with too many albums, but I have seen it. Its entirely possible that its just too many photos. What I'll probably do is leave it the way it is now (loading everything) if there is less than maybe 100 photos, but change it to load one album at a time when you click one if there is any more.

that might be on your end... it doesn't freeze up on me... and I've loaded peoples albums with hundreds of pics...

when loading user albums with more than for example 50 photos per album with 13 or so albums the script freezes firefox, a way to prevent this may be have the script load only 1 album at a time when a user clicks on a specific album.

MySpace regularly changes the id of the default table, which is why in 1.7.52 I added

document.getElementById('photo_list').getElementsByTagName('table')[0].style.display = 'none';

to make the script independent of that change.

Are you using 1.7.52?

This script hasn't been hiding the default picture tables lately. I found the code that changed.

Change:
/* Hide default picture tables */\
#ctl00_cpMain_UserViewPictureControl_ImageListings1_dlImageList, \
#ctl00_cpMain_ucTaggedContent1_ImageListings1_dlImageList {display: none;}\

To This:
/* Hide default picture tables */\
#ctl00_ctl00_cpMain_cpMain_UserViewPictureControl_ImageListings1_dlImageList, \
#ctl00_ctl00_cpMain_cpMain_ucTaggedContent1_ImageListings1_dlImageList {display: none;}\

Worked for me... Now to figure out how to get comments to load again...

Thanks. MySpace changed a few things around with how the comments work, so right now I can't really do that. It used to be able to show all the pages of comments, with the total as well, but I'm still working on fixing it.

I think it's annoying that I can't see all the comments anyways, so I'll definitely get that working.

I love this script so much, but one little suggestion, if you could put something in there that shows how many comments each picture has that'd be great.
a lot of the times I already know what the picture looks like so i just go to someone's album to see if there are comments (mainly cause they're picture i took so i wanna see if people are being...polite =))
either way though, super script, love it

I went ahead and got PicLens to make sure its works.

My script and PicLens both work perfectly independent of each other, just the way it should be.
I cannot edit anything on the PicLens interface as a greasemonkey user.
It's just not possible.

I cannot create a button to just launch PicLens on demand. To view the current album in PicLens, simply go back the album selection page, hover over the album cover image, and click the little PicLens logo that comes up. I could, however, create a link on each album page that lead to the same exact page...the one you're currently viewing. That would force PicLens to put there little logo on it, so you could launch PicLens. However, this link would be completely useless to any other viewers. So, what I can do, is make it an option, like blkout! suggested, to put in the useless link.

This will be included in the next update.

So does PicLens work with this script or not? I can't get PicLens to work at all with this script on myspace. It would be cool if you could get it to work, but I'm no programmer so I have no idea what tha would involve.

ok. I've finished new photos, DTA, and fixed the settings thing, but now comments are broken.

is anyone still getting photo comment to show?
