Wow! This is definitly slick!

It works fine on OS X with Greasemonkey 0.6.4 with Firefox 1.5.

This script doesn't work at all on Mac OS X, using FireFox 1.5 and Greasemonkey 0.6.3.

On the artist name deal, many names do not show up on the Hit, however I find them very quickly on Amazon's music search for the album titles. If you wanted to you could make a script to automatically search on Amazon in a new page for an album title match, then we could cut and paste. Or if you're really ambitious, I suppose you could turn the Amazon list, with album photos, titles and artist names, into a scrollable list, and make clicking on the artist name from that window submit it. That would be great if that's possible. :D Thanks for your great work!

This script is amazing and makes my life so much better. I know little about javascript, and not nearly enough to do this type of stuff so thank you so much! and I also agree with David, a script to click the artists names would make them actually worth doing for .02Â¢. And I also would pay a few bucks to see the script made. thanks again for your genius.

Hey, now that the A9 tasks are coming more slowly, what about a script for the 40,000+ confirm artist HITs? As they stand they are not worth the time, but with a script they could be even quicker than the A9s. All it would need would be to:
Hide all the extraneous text
Make the printed name options clickable so that clicking one of the typed names copies the information into the text field and submits the form
Offers auto-accept and keystroke accept/skip
Automatically inputs the first typed possibility into the text field and highlights it so you can start typing as soon as you see the picture.

With that, they might be as easy as the A9's, albeit lower payoff. Anyway, I'd pay $5 for (or $10 if I got to use it a couple days before it went public) and I'm sure others would too.

to bypass the 'Your request was not completed successfully' you can use the following script:

great work, i got it to work from the link you post on the new ver of GM, maybe you could add a feture that disable/enable the zoom on press of some key, so it wont pop zoom pic's on every mouseover, just when you press or unpress a key...

Tweak the zooming.
Zoom to larger than 100%
Add a submit delay to fix the odd mistake.

I have never used scripts, firefox, or greasemonkey before and I need some help. I have all of these things downloaded, but I dont know how to get them to work. I dl the script from here and open in with firefox and a long page of numbers and wods load up. When I try to click Tool>Install this user script, its always grayed out so I cant click on it. Please someone help me.

steeevee: next time this happens on a page, open up the Javascript Console (Tools -> Javascript Console), scroll to the end (which is probably at the bottom), and then post any messages you see for 'amazonmechanic...', to the bug report forum above.

is this script not working consistently for anyone else? about 60% of the time it does its job, but sometimes it doesn't load up when a new page loads. if it worked every time a new page loaded on mturk then this program would be the best thing in the universe

Another question, I dunno if I'm right or not,but the last version auto-highlighted the first choice in RED. For some reason, I have to hit N or P to highlight the first choice. How do I fix this?

EX: If I see the correct image loaded first, I just want to hit enter to go ahead and move on. Instead, I have to hit next or previous to highlight it and enter. Is there a way I can change it back?

Whoops - the comment formatter messed up my instructions:

Go into each of the Key option input boxes, and make sure you delete everything in them (use both the Del and Backspace keys to make sure).
Then, type the single letter you want, and then press Tab (to make sure the cursor moves out of the box). If you want to use the Enter key, type in '<enter>' (without the quotation marks). Space should be '<space>' (without the quotation marks).

Could you tell us how to clear the saved key information and go back to defaults? I tried to change some of the configuration and it didn't work so I tried to change it back. No dice.

Hey Chris, this new version is buggy for me.

Whenever I hit the "N" keystroke for "next", it goes to the next one and auto-submits.
