I just tried this out. I am an avid Gmail/RTM/Calendar/Docs user. I have a couple questions/comments that I would like to pose. These are in order of importance:

1. I am using Globex's Gmail Redesigned script, as updated on Aug. 4. As others have done here, my intent was to have the Calendar window come up directly below the message list, etc. (in the main frame). It does this, but there is a white bar across the screen that mars the otherwise pretty perfect placement. The Calendar is also placed a little to the left, but I checked and without the Gmail Redesigned script enabled, it is perfectly placed. Also, since the regular Gmail's background is white, the "white bar" is not visible. If the answer is that these things just won't work together that is fine.

2. The menu items ("RTM" "Chat" "Calendar" "Prefs" etc.) are all black so in the redesigned script you cannot see them.

3. I don't suppose anyone has worked up a script to make the RTM module match the redesigned script?

Metacore,if you open up the prefs box you will see calendar listed part way down in there you will see a setting for height and width.Adjust your height to about 700 and work from there.

Nevermind, thanks JR. I tried changing it from the default 50 to 60 and didn't notice much of a change, so I assumed it had nothing to do with it. Anyway, thanks this works great as it is!
Anyway, a suggestion for one possible direction to take this is tabbed view. There is a very nice free email service called Zenbe (zenbe.com) which offers just that, in an attempt dethrown the email giants. I suggest you register and take a look, but basically there is a tab for the inbox, calendar, and some other things. Better yet, there is a sidebar, just like the one created by the Remember the Milk, except it has small tabs aswell. One for tasks(which are divided by lists, then date, instead of the slightly harder to use Remember the Milk sorting), as well as gTalk, and Facebook. gTalk is unnecessary, but a facebook implementation would also be cool. Anyway, combined with the cool redisgned style I'm using for everything, all the 3rd party support, and the integration with google, Remember the Milk, and Jott, it doesn't look like I'll be moving soon, but Zenbe is a great innovation to be inspired by.
Once more, thanks for your time and great script(s)!

The Dot: Good news for us both! After staying up much too late reverse engineering GMail's Javascript, I've come up with a workaround for the FF3/GMail API problem. It's a hack for sure, so I'm still testing it out, but it's definitely looking hopeful. If you want more info or think you might be able to help make it a little more stable, my email is jarett [DOT] millard [AT] gmail [DOT] com.

@Dimitri : I tried running the script AutoBCC on Firefox2. It seemed to work ok except for throwing too many alert boxes at me ;).
Could you please try the script at http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/25195 ? If that works fine for you, it could save us a lot of trouble :). If somehow, that script doesnt work well for you then I will definitely work with you to fix the issue. Thank you for your patience.

@Jr. : "The particular gadget we were discussing is rather hard to set up." What I was implying was that setting up that gadget requires you to write _code_. This would obviously be a nuisance to a person not used to writing code. I shouldve been more elaborate. I apologize for the misunderstanding.
I tried using the script and it didnt work for me either. However, gmail did not refresh continuously. This seems to be an issue of incompatibility of the gmailAPI with firefox3. You may verify this by trying out the script at http://gmail-greasemonkey.googlecode.com/svn/tr... (provided by Google.) for me, that script doesnt work either. I have put this issue under the Known Issues section.
Also, could you please verify that the script at http://gmail-greasemonkey.googlecode.com/svn/tr... doesnt work for you? Im not sure why nobody else has raised this issue though; just maybe im doing something wrong. Thanks.

@Jr: Dont worry, youre not really expected to get things to work if youre not used to doing this stuff. The particular gadget we were discussing is rather hard to set up. I strongly recommend that you choose another one. You can try them out by adding them to your Google IG page.
As regarding the refreshing issue, thats quite odd. I suggest that you log in to your calendar on a separate window. Also log in to any other addons that you have integrated on its main page. Then refresh gmail. Please feel free to get back to me if this doesnt work.

@JoeMik: Unfortunately, the gmailAPI provided by google still does weird things on FF3. I will update the script description to answer this.

@danny1205: :) yay. Im glad you liked it.

@Brian W: The RTM extension itself ought to work great as max6166 suggested. Are you running Firefox3 - this script does not currently work on Firefox3.

@Dimitri: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/25195 . :)
If youre particular about using your old script, please provide more details about what exactly went wrong.

@Brian W: That is exactly what I use this script for. I just use the regular "Remember the Milk for GMail" Firefox extension which displays RTM on the right side of the page. I use this script only to place GCal within the mainframe below the GMail message list. I am using Firefox 2, and it works fantastically! I don't use the RTM+Gmail Addons script, so I can't advise you on that, but the combination I described didn't require any special tweaking.

Was just wondering if there was a method to get this wonderful script working with RTM. I live in my Gmail account and my dream is to have my mail, calendar, and to-do list all in one nice location.

I saw a link for your other RTM+Gmail Addons script and tried it (after disabling my RTM extension) and nothing seemed to work. Maybe I did something wrong. Is that the correct method to get both working?
