I made some changes to the script and got it working. is there anyway I can email D Rickard so I can deliver the fixed script? I wouldn't want to open another "Yahoo Mail Login Assistant" for nothing.

It does not record automatically my username. It may be because I am running firefox 1.5.0.3 on Linux. Please find a fix, I love the idea. Thanks

Dropdown list doesn't show for me either. Firefox 1.5.0.1. Any ideas how to activate this?

No droplist here either, but, like the last poster, the page is now secure.

When the list of usernames is large, the yahoo rounded corners overlay the usernames.
Solved by adding:
zIndex=1;
in the:
with (nameDiv.style)

This is almost an exact copy of "Yahoo Mail Username Assistant" (http://axlotl.net/greasemonkey/yahoomailassist....
). I just made some slight cosmetic changes and more importantly added a shift of the focus to the password box after selecting a username. Use this in conjunction with "Yahoo! Mail: Connect via HTTPS" (http://www.abderian.com/pub/secure-ymail.user.js) for a better and more secure Yahoo! Mail experience.

Someone who has more time than I do should take this a step further and do a Google Suggest-style drop down for the Yahoo username. (Then again it will be moot once the new version of Yahoo mail comes out.)
