Peculiar character generated after each conversion., replied by Crisoco44

When hovering the cursor over the US dollar amount on all sites the conversion box enters a peculiar character after each conversion.
The following link is a screen shot showing the problem.

http://i146.photobucket.com/albums/r257/crisoco...

It happens with all the sites that I connect with including Amazon.com
I am currently running Firefox 3.5
Can you explain what the problem might be?
Is this a problem local to my computer or a compatibility problem with new Firefox 3.5?

"US" still exists after conversion, replied by rio

All amount with leading "$" in http://www.hkgolden.com/price_qiy/price_qiy.asp will be converted to other currency wrongly which are all originally shown in local currency. Could this script skip converting local currency webpage?

Hi, the "US" is still existed before the converted amount though the amount has been converted correctly from "US $" to my local currency.
Would you pls fix it? :) Thanks.

Works wonderfully, just changed the included pages to the domains which I use most. Coolest part is its not limited to any currency and it updates once a day.. Thank you friend for this

Really like the script, as I used to use the ViewMyCurrency extension on FF2. I have moved to FF3, and as ViewMyCurrency is no longer updated, I had to find an alternative. And this was it. It works very well and is fast, however, I was wondering if it was at all possible to add a third view type (as opposed to inline or hover), whereby it adds it in brackets after the original price. This is how ViewMyCurrency worked, and it meant seeing my currency at a glance after the original. This script: http://userscripts.org/scripts/show/2600 displays the conversion the way I want, but it’s a very slow script. It takes 10 or more seconds for the conversion to show up.

I hope you know what i mean :)
Thanks

Yes, apparently I had mistyped the Norwegian currency code (it's NOK instead of NOR).

Everytime a price is converted from the norwegian currency to the danish currency, the price is set to zero. E.g.: DKK 0 kr (from NOR 55.000).

Furthermore, a number followed by "kr" will always be interpreted as a norwegian price although the same abbreviation is used in denmark and in sweden. So I was thinking that you maybe could let the script check whether a page is from Denmark, Norway or Sweden (or any other country) in case of a abbreviation used by various countries.

Otherwise a great script. :)

But it should work correctly now (Although I can still think of a few exceptions).

Can You fix that:
From http://finance.yahoo.com/

USD to EUR 0.6831 €

give me:

USD to EUR $ 9.999,80

You script have problem if value precision is too big (like half of cent).
