Thanks for this most killer script. I have noticed that when I embed a Vimeo video, I cannot see it when the script is running. Is this by design?

I'm working on getting the next version released. It won't be the full customization that I was hoping for but partial customization for now is better than no customization. If you haven't noticed the auto-updating on the home page hasn't worked for a while now. I was hoping to fix that with this next release but I think that feature will have to be pushed back.

Bottom line: I'm pushing to release some of the features I've been tinkering with for over a month.

Nope Opera does not support E4X. You could remove the E4X and my update checker, but I don't think it supports getElementsByClassName either.

Opera supports greasemonkey scripts, but this one doesn't work under opera 10 beta. Is there any hope of a fix, or any idea what's wrong? This script is *EXACTLY* what I've been needing...

I checked the js console and found this:

Syntax error unfuck-facebook.user.js: line 1 of User JS script : Expected Statement scr_meta=<><![CDATA[ ----------^

It seems to be choking on the <><! ... ></> sections.

2.4.0 will include a graphical configuration panel.

There's nothing special about that link. It leads you to the same page as the "Profile" one. Anyway, it is still accessible on the home page from the link in your status.

I just realized that with this script enabled, the link for my own profile page (as seen by others), is gone. Typically I will see a link to the right of "Settings" that contains my name. I click it to see what other Facebook users see when they look at my own profile. Was this intended?

Released 2.3.7
Changes
1. Getting status with XHR since new chat client does not include the current status anymore.
2. Facebook now puts an alert in your feed when new stories are available. The script now expands those automatically as well as checking for new stories more frequently that Facebook does.
3. Fixed invite blocking code. It is now confirmed to work properly.
4. Facebook has added a status-only filter so I made an exception in my code to show it.

Do you have the absolute latest version installed? That bug can't exist anymore. I've completely re-written the code for removing things. It is now pure xpath and can only operate on feeds. Asian characters would be irrelevant.

Sorry to be full of complaints, but the blank-page bug has reappears on one of my friend's pages. It's only one friend though...and the only difference I can discern is that her name on facebook is Asian characters. Might that have something to do with it?

Request blocking is back! Btw event and group invite blocking is commented out in the script so if you want to block those aswell(I do) then uncomment those lines. If you don't know how. Just ask and I'll post a link to a version with that code uncommented for you.

That retarded error of having the page blank-out sometimes has been completely fixed. Appearently I became much better at xpath over night lol. Consequently the crap removal is much faster than it was and therefor shouldn't slow down your system. Enjoy.

p.s. if anyone was wondering how to delete those stupid fucking filters that facebook took it upon themselves to create you can do that on this page.
