STILL doesn't work with Firefox 3, replied by Timothy Babych

Well, if someone can provide me a failing testcase, I may be will make it work for you.

The problem is that it works for me almost every day without an issue.

In order to work correctly in FF3 - while editting post in HTML mode, add EXCLUDE string for this script:

when you call the developer a deadbeat you're just asking to be ignored. and given the last update on this i suspect that it's abandonware.

Still waiting for a fix for Firefox 3. Emailed the developer and was promptly ignored. Can we get someone else to clone this and not have to wait for a deadbeat to fix a problem with a browser that has been out for months now?

I'm not sure if it's something LJ did recently, or if it's because I'm using the FF 3 beta, but it seems to be broken again. This is definitely my most-used script, so I'm hoping for a fix.

This is a great script. One change I made, though, was to add the following:

	this.style.border = ''
	this.style.padding = ''

to the beginning of the post_comment() function, right up at the top of the script. That way, after you've posted a comment and the border turned green or red to let you know if the post was successful or failed, clicking on the "Instant Comment" link again will remove the border.
