This script is no longer necessary. This is the best way to set Gmail as Firefox 3's default mailto link handler: http://lifehacker.com/392287/set-firefox-3-to-l...

Hi I just downloaded Better Gmail 2, primarily for this feature...The first site that I tested this on however, it did not work. I have tried it on other sites and it worked, but this one here: http://www.chicagogsb.edu/faculty/bio.aspx?pers... doesnt work and it still opens up outlook. Not sure if there is an issue ASP or something like that, and if anyone has encountered this or has a fix for

otherwise works great so far...thanks!

Any chance this can also be set to allow R-click "send link" to send via gmail? It opens an unconfigured Outlook Express window at this time. Excellent script - thanks.

I use Google Apps and it correctly goes to the correct Inbox but does not open the compose window...is this normal? The original Mailto script also does not open the compose window for me either....

I have tried turning keyboard shortcuts on and off...

Will this userscript work for manually entering a mailto into the Firefox address bar...?

I have an AutoIT program (complainterator.com) that does mailto's this way...

When I tested it, it opened outlook 2007.
