Thanks for responding! I know just enough about this to be dangerous, so please bear with me. I can't really tell what line it is because the script rewraps to the window. It is near the top, however, and the revised line is below (which is near the top of the script). I increased it to 250 px. I have screenshots, but I'm not sure how to post them here, but I'll try to figure it out.

The transparency isn't the problem, but when I increased it to 250px, the add stuff disappears completely—there's nothing to scroll over. Which looks nice, of course, but I have to turn the script off if I want to access that tab.

I had this problem occasionally aswell. If this happends , right click the Greasemonkey icon in the bottom right corner of the screen , choose Userscripts Commands -> Giftsender - Store giftkey , Voila !

I must admit that Better GMail 2 was a great addon as I used it for some time, but it was missing some features and the ability to customize it. I feel that my script compilation allows others to have the good stuff while allowing for personalization tweaks if they prefer. Before you know it, I will probably be using someone else's compilation. :-)

I didn't mean that when I update the settings change.

What I meant was, I thought that the script didn't work because they were all turned off and I didn't know about the settings page.

Maybe having some of the features default to on and making the settings page a bit more obvious would fix that. (Now, by god, don't go make the settings link the size of New York City...maybe put it in a section by adding lines above and below it?

Just an FYI, the code for lines in HTML (Known as horizontal rule) is hr, and is written simply as< hr / > (no space after the first bracket and before the last bracket of course)

Just a suggestion, nothing to be worried about, its nothing big ;)

Edit: Just looked at your update log and saw that when you install it redirects to the settings page now, that is a great idea that I didn't think of and will definitely work. :) Nice job, I don't have any complaints with this, definitely my favorite.

This isn't reproducible for me.
Maybe one of your other Userscripts interferes or other installed extensions interfere or just different browser settings cause the problem. I have no clue at the moment...

1) переименовывать файлы он в принципе не может, тк в таком именно варианте они хранятся на сервере. переименовать их может только менеджер закачек по маске
2) теги опять же какие есть у файла, такие ты и получишь
3) если ты говоришь что скипт говно, то почему говоришь что тебе нравилась старая версия, хотя от старой ее отличает только то, что она работает
4) это ты такой умный, что если хочешь, можешь "сам все поправить", а кто-то просто хочет чтобы работало, и я даю им эту возможность, обновляя оперативно скрипт. И если уж ты такой молодец и можешь сам "пропатчить исходники", то вполне мог бы уже понять откуда "отдкуда-то" он подтягивает основной функционал и сделать с ним все что хочется
5) "если хочешь чтобы все работало как тебе надо, делай это сам"
6) не нравится быть говноедом, не будь им! а если пользуешься, скажи спасибо, или свали нахер отсюда и кушай говно где-нть в другом месте - изо рта воняет

Actually the auto-quest did work. you just had the unfortunate timing of trying the script out right after zynga changed the game. an updated script is being work on now.

the shadow/bold can be easily removed by "Customize Css", there are some people like it as me.

Currently the wiki only can search from english and Chinese(if you use google.cn or google.tw or google.hk, the wiki is in Chinese), your idea is great, i will try it

This review was writtn before I made the final tooltip design. Before that, it was just a test version, and the tooltip was green and offtheen had problems because it was hidden behind other elements like the flash player. These problems should have been solved now (see changelog).

My vote is to show both time-tested scripts and latest scripts on the home page.

There are people who frequent userscripts.org and when they see a new script listed on homepage which happens to be specific to the site or activity they do on browser. So they think why not try it and see if its useful. This way the new script with 0 installs gets some exposure. Otherwise the person visits this site and sees same ten scripts (with highest rating) listed on homepage, he gets bored and exits the site.

A lot of users in a rush use the review - comment area to report bug etc. So an ability for the author to reply to that review comment and the ratings adjustment accordingly would be nice.

Couple things. When you say UserScript Writing 101, and then provide no help in writing scripts and then criticize another site for doing it, it's sad. You don't mention about creating the script or adding them to greasemonkey so I can only hope that you are just adding onto the information located on that site in which case I am fine with it. Second, you call Java an inferior language based on it being a completely different type of code which shows your lack of knowledge of programming and that sort of insults me, however, it may simply be that you are not aware of Java and how it works. For those unaware, JavaScript was made to look like Java, which is why you can get them confused, but they serve totally different purposes.
